Why should I use Timax WEBCARGO when I already have FTP?

With Timax WEBCARGO there are no servers to maintain, no special software required for uploading, no usernames or passwords required for downloading, there are no storage quotas... and with Timax WEBCARGO Receipt Confirmation you'll know when your files have been received.

Also, our secure servers are connected to the internet via multiple backbones at gigabit speeds, so file transfers to and from Timax WEBCARGO are often times much faster than your average FTP server.

How long will it take to upload my files?

This will depend on the speed of your internet connection.

We recommend using Timax WEBCARGO when both the sender and receipient have high-speed internet connections -- which is typically the case for corporate users. If you plan to use Timax WEBCARGO from home we recommend that you have a Cable Modem or DSL connection.

As for us, our secure servers are connected to the internet via multiple backbones at blazing gigabit speeds. Give us a try and find out how fast Timax WEBCARGO can deliver for you.

How can you attach 2 GB to an e-mail?

Timax WEBCARGO accomplishes this seemingly impossible feat by temporarily storing the files you are sending in a secure holding area on one of our many servers, awaiting delivery to your recipients. Your recipients will receive an email from you with a unique and secure link that allows them to retrieve the files via a secure connection, but only after they've clicked on this link. As a result, the email delivered to your recipient is tiny -- it only contains text -- yet Timax WEBCARGO is able to deliver virtually unlimited amounts of data to any e-mail account.
